Common Audio Profile (CAP) includes specifications on how audio stream volume should be controlled, as part of Volume Control Profile (VCP) how microphones are controlled as part of Microphone Control Profile (MICP). Additionally relative balance of audio is controlled via Volume Offset Control Service (VOCS) and audio input gain and muting is controlled via Audio Input Control Service (AICS).
